Budget Workshops 2009

Each
year, the Board of Education, by policy, schedules three workshops
in the winter to allow the community to address the Superintendent
of Schools' recommended budget, and to make specific recommendations
to the Board of Education before it adopts its recommended budget.
In addition, the Board of Education, by policy, conducts up to three
workshops in the spring in order to review the appropriation by
the Board of Directors, and to finalize the Board of Education budget
for the next school year

- Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2009 (Budget Workshop - 6-8 pm)
- Thursday, Jan. 22, 2009 (Budget Workshop - 6-8 pm) - Cancelled
- Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2009 (Bud.Wk./Special Mtg- 6-8 pm) - If Needed
- Thursday, March 12, 2009 (Budget Workshop 6-8 pm) Presentation Room #293 at MHS
- Thursday April 30, 2009 (Budget Workshop - 6-8 pm)
- Tuesday, May 5, 2009 (Budget Workshop - 6-8 pm) - postponed until further notice
- Wednesday, May 13, 2009 - (Budget Workshop 6:00 p.m.) - Located in the Bailey Auditorium at MHS
- Tuesday, June 2, 2009 - (budget Workshop) - Located in the presentation room at MHS.
- Tuesday, June 2, 2009 - Special BOE meeting (adoption of budget - presentation room at MHS following budget workshop
These
workshops will be held in the Presentation/Community
Room in the Freshman Center at Manchester High School.
